Stephen brings a wealth of experience, highlighted by more than 32 years within the automotive electronics and rail industries and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies (Economics).
Over his career span he has established a reputable skill set for delivering operational excellence, developing high-performing teams and implementing holistic systems that drive sustainable growth to achieve long-term business success. Stephen’s strong ability to lead with passion and achieve operational excellence was developed during his eight years of serving with the 40 Commando Royal Marines.
Prior to joining SET, Stephen was a General Manager at Cygnus Automotive and Taxiworld where he earned a magnitude of praise for innovatively merging and rebranding the two rival businesses. Leveraging his expertise he successfully transformed the loss-making organisations into the group’s highest performing company and the largest business in its sector. Passionate about developing people, Stephen is a strong advocate for investing in the next generation and has extensive experience in supporting apprentices throughout his career.
